Delete Your Account

To delete your DictArena account, send an email to dictarena@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

Include the following in your message:

• Your registered email address
• Your DictArena display name or username
• A brief confirmation that you wish to delete your account

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

Upon confirmed deletion, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your account credentials (email address and passphrase)
• Your display name and username
• Your game history and submission records
• Your performance statistics and leaderboard entries
• Any active subscription or purchase records held by us

Some data may be retained after deletion for legal or operational reasons:

• Billing records — transaction IDs and purchase amounts required for tax compliance are retained for up to 7 years, as required by law. These records do not contain your full payment details (handled by Apple / Google).
• Anonymised aggregates — we may retain aggregate, non-identifiable statistics (e.g. total games played per language) indefinitely. These cannot be linked back to you.

We are building a self-service delete account option directly inside the DictArena app. Until it is available, please use the email method above.
